PFM's last album, Chocolate Kings, is out here on Asylum sporting, however, a cover very different than the original Italian release. Check Barbara Birdfeather's column in this issue for some more info on PFM. . . .GASOLIN', from Denmark, finally have their first U.S. release on Epic. It contains cuts from several previous LPs and is produced by Roy Thomas Baker, best known for his work with Queen. . . .TRIUMVIRAT is plagued with personnel problems. Their current bass player is leaving the group and it is rumoured that he may be replaced by their old bass player. . . .KRAFTWERK's next LP Europe Endless will be released sometime in October. They finished mixing it in Los Angeles last month and are currently on a short European concert tour including France, where their last album hit the top of the charts. A U.S. tour is being planned for later in the year. . . .RANDY PIE were invited by the President of Gabon, West Africa, to play at a concert celebrating that country's independence. The latest single from Randy Pie is a disco-reggae number called "England, (We Can't Come)". . . .Look for these in the import racks: Activate is the third album from England's exciting jazz-rock trio, BACKDOOR. The album is the first production effort for ELP's drummer, Carl Palmer. . . .You Didn't Like It is a re-issue of an old album by HOTLEGS, the group that later went on to become 10CC. (eof)
