New Euro-rock releases here this month include the newest from AMON DUUL 2, it's their second release for Atco and their sixth to be released in the U.S. It's called "Made In Germany" and is easily their most commercial and enjoyable effort to date....a Dutch group called ALQUIN have their first U.S. release out on RCA called "Nobody Can Wait Forever". A tour is being planned for the Fall......KRAFTWERK's "Ralf & Florian" album has been released here on Vertigo. It actually predates "Autobahn" and they've just finished a new album which will be released by Capitol in October. Kraftwerk were the subject of a feature article in the September issue of Creem magazine and appeared on a segment of Midnight Special last month ......electronics whizz, KLAUS SCHULTZ is getting ready to sign with an American record company. Meanwhile, his latest release is out on Brain in Germany this month. It's called "Time Wind.".....other new releases from Brain include new albums from GROBSCHNITT, EDGAR FROESE, and HARMONIA........INGA RUMPF, lead singer from the group ATLANTIS, has a solo album out with lyrics in German; an English version will be released as well as a new Atlantis album... ...GURU GURU drummer, Mani Neumier, has his first solo album out this month. It's called "Guru Guru Mani & Seine Freunde." (G.G. Mani & His Friends) His friends on the album include the bass and guitar players from KRAAN, keyboards and conga player from KARTHAGO and sax player from MANGELSDORFF 5........SCORPIONS soon to have their third album out......BO HANSSON working on a new album.... ...LUCIFER'S FRIEND to have a new release out soon called "Banquet".......new releases due from OMEGA and NEKTAR........QUINTESSENCE are composing the music for the next Lelouch-Film "Le Mythes du Grand Zare"........a new label starting up in Germany called Sky Records......
