Hints on Using this Directory

If you are looking for a particular club/group:
  • Go directly to the Table of Field Day Operations, and search or scroll down through the list to find your club/group. The list is alphabetically sorted by a three or four character Map Key, which is related to the name of the club/group or its abbreviation.
If you are not looking for a particular club or group:
  • Find your location on the Illinois or Chicago Area overview maps.
  • Note the three- or four-character Map Key of the operation closest to your location.
  • Refer to the Table of Field Day Operations, and search or scroll down through the list to find the noted Map Key.
  • Click on the Acme Mapper link next to the locator thumbnail maps. A map centered on the Field Day operation you selected will appear. The selected Field Day operation will be marked with a red teardrop labelled "A".
  • To find additional nearby Field Day operations, use the zoom widget in the upper left corner of the map to zoom out. The 25 nearest Field Day operations will be shown as markers "B" through "Z" on the map. It will be necessary to zoom out several times to view all 25 additional markers.
