Hardy and Film

Several films have been made out of Hardy's works, some watchable and some not. Hardy's relationship with the art of film was tenuous. He did give consent for a few films in his lifetime, but the limits of the technology conspired t o create sub-par work. Below are some links to various visual works, theatrical and televised:
