OK, I admit this picture has some issues. It's obviously double exposed or triple exposed... There is Kelly on Santa's lap, there is a scout leader smoking by some tents, there is rope everywhere and what looks like a newspaper on santa's glove. The weird part is, we camped with tents like that 30 years ago, but not anytime that I've been involved with scouts in the 90's. I also don't reconize the scout leader or the council patch on his shoulder. Hard to figure out. If you can figure out anything within the image, let me know.

Kelly always came home from school as fast as she could. Then she'd make herself a bowl of ice cream and eat it while watching spongbob or some other cartoon. By the time the other kids got home from school she was always done with her ice cream and had the bowl in the sink pretending there was none so there would be some for her the next day.
Because Kelly was born on Christmas, instead of putting her in a blanket to come home, someone at the hospital had sewn together a "stocking" made of blankets. Every year at Christmas we'd hang stockings and Santa would fill them on Christmas Eve; over time Kelly rediscovered her extra large sized stocking in a box and started putting that out as hers because it took more to fill it than the ones we had purchased for the kids. Now we hang it on the china cabinet at Christmas.
This is from Kellys 2nd birthday, at Christmas time, around 6pm when having dinner at my parents, we'd have birthday cake and sing happy birthday, not just to Kelly, but to everyone in our family with November and December birthdays. When Andy and Richie were little we'd celebrate their birthdays at Thanksgiving, but in the early 1990's when grandparents started going to Arizona for the winter they'd only come back for a few days during Christmas so we started celebrating all the birthdays then. Once Kelly was born, she got to blow out the candles on that day..
Kelly and Melissa going off to camp. Every year, everyone goes to camp. Kelly attended Brownie Art, Mermaid Camp, Clowning Around Camp, Sports and Games Camp, Scrapbook Shutterbug camp, Explore Canoes II and Make your own Pop Video camps.
On the old front porch (based on the tree in the window I'd say this was another shot at a Christmas card... many pictures and different poses were taken while only one was printed each year so I can't tell what year it was except guessing based on the size of Jenny (and lack of Matt.)
For years we took Christmas card pictures on the back porch. Again, I'm not sure what year this was but it must have been just before Melissa was born.
Proof that it will melt not only in your mouth but all over hands and face too. The flag was up in the corner of our house all the time as we'd have scout meetings there each week.
The final year of St Denis, Kelly was a starting guard on the schools Basketball team and they won the conference championship. More Baseball, and 1st Communion

Kelly and I on the Calumet... She is the only one of the kids to have been on the Chicago River (in the process she spotted a basket ball floating in the river that we brought home), in addition to all the other local rivers. At the East Race her first year, she knocked my paddle out of my hand, causing me much concern for the rest of the trip down the course.
Kelly with tuts the chicken. (Actually, that might not have been tuts, due to the school Kellys older sister goes too (and that Kelly was accepted to) they sometimes bring home critters to care for, including chickens, roosters, and chicks. "Cow" was the most recent boarder and no, Cow was not a cow, that was just his name.).

Kelly the joker, and Kelly on the warpath (at Scout Camp)
This is one of the few pictures of Kelly with red hair (there are only two that I know of). After dying it red, she decided that wasn't the image she wanted, so 6 weeks later she dyed it darker to reflect the "Punk band drummer" look that she wanted. This was at "Make your own Rock Video" camp.
Family parties and get togethers aren't the same anymore. Kelly and one of her Aunts at Grandma's kitchen table (I'm guessing either Labor Day or Columbus Day, 2003).
Kelly was the baker... If I bought a brownie mix and put it in the cabinet, I knew when she spotted it she would cook it without fail (course, that didn't mean I'd get to eat any as she'd eat it too). When Kelly was about 4 years old, she took a dozen eggs, crawled under the dining room table (carpeted floor), and broke them up and was mixing them with a spoon into the rug by the time she was spotted... Ended up removing the entire rug and tiling the area ;-). She also put a Fisher Price plastic cake in the broiler once and left it there... later my wife turned on the oven to preheat it without checking the broiler.... We had runny plastic mess that night for supper... (course I brought that melted cake to work to show off what a cook she was the next day)
It's summer and that means its camp time. Six months after Kelly was born, Kelly attended Owasippe Scout Camp's Reneker Family Camp for the first time. We have gone every year since both as a family, and then later in the summer with my son's scout troop (just Andy and I). Each year on Friday, we sit at the picnic table by our cabin and take a family photo.
We still go and the last few summers I've brought home a fern hat to place on Kelly's headstone.
Just as the boys and I go to boy scout camp, Kelly has attended girl scout camp each summer since she was a Daisy. The above picture was taken a few years ago at a Dad and me weekend on fathersday. Kelly always seemed to know others who would be there in advance and had the weekend planned for us and we did all our activities with Kellys friends that weekend. I was the only dad there with five daughters... Summer 2003 Kelly attended "Make your own Rock Video" camp at Camp Juniper Knoll. She's also attended summer camp at Camp McCormick and Camp Dean as well as many weekend camping trips at Camp Butternut Springs. We'll have to try to scan off some of the video.
8th Grade Graduation has typically been the year we send the graduate on a big trip with Girl Scouts, Kelly's oldest sister went Mountain Climbing in the Beartooth wilderness area, and her next oldest sister went on a historic tour of the Niagra Falls area. We don't know what Kelly would have picked as her trip because we didn't have to book it until the end of March.
Kelly's headstone arrived June 9th. We were starting to wonder what was taking so long.
We paid extra to have full dates instead of just years engraved so all eternity would know she was born on Christmas
(Actaully maybe they were unhappy with us as we didn't use a standard message either).
I accepted Kelly's diploma for her yesterday (6/14) at her school graduation.
They did a very nice tribute to her.
Kelly's graduation picture was taken about a month before the accident which took her life. She had already received her acceptance letter to the highschool she wanted to attend and was telling us how this summer we had to buy her a new wardrobe since she would no longer have to wear a uniform to school. She was happy that she got her choice since only three other students from her school were accepted at that school). She wanted us to rent sumo-wrestler suits for her graduation party (she liked them at Sherri's party last year).
Kelly prefered this picture over the cap and gown photo.
