News, Updates, Gossip, and Notes to Myself
Welcome, welcome. If you're wondering what (if anything, often) I've changed lately, you're
in the right place. While you're here, I'll note that much of what's shown below is really
more for my benefit than yours; notes to myself so I won't forget what I had wanted to be working
on, and the like. I'm a forgetful webmistress, I am. :-> Updates are in reverse-chronological
order.
Friday, July 13th, 2001 - Created news page. :-> Updated
housefilk page, and index to show new last-changed dates.
Realized just how much really old content there is here, and how many of my Grand Plans have
failed to materialize (yet!).
HTMLish Things I'm working on (on and off):
- Formatting lyrics (and chords, occasionally) for
Matt Leger, with an eye to it becoming
his online songbook. Boy has lots of songs that need to be seen, and shared! Besides, this
way I get copies of all of them, muahahahaha.
- Updating, correcting, and expanding my filk collection page.
I've bought so many more albums since I started that page (not even including the ones I'd
already bought, but not yet entered)! Like the previous item, more tedious than hard. Involves
a lot of typing. The commentary is going to be the fun part.
- Expanding, linkchecking, and fixing up my books page. This, as originally
conceived, was going to have a lot more minireviews. Also, possibly (linked off that?) a listing
of what I'm reading, with nutshell comments, both to keep track of what I read in a given month and
just because I think people will find it interesting. I should boggle some with the catholicism (in
the non-religious, small-c sense) of my tastes, and who am I to restrain myself from boggling strangers?
- Writing a damn guitar page. Even if it's just a linkdigest until I have better inspiration.
- Ditto with crafts, including scanning pictures of my car, for a step-by-step 'how we painted it' page.
- I don't really plan to do anything with Roleplaying, TV,
Poetry, or SCA in the near future; no inspiration,
and as you can see, I've got a goodly work-load lined up anyway.
