More About CAU:  What We Do

We provide medical case management to pregnant women and children who are currently indigent, and to children who are wards of the State of Illinois.

We provide case management services to persons in nursing home facilities who have both medical and emotional needs.

We provide case management services to individuals in the Chicago metropolitan area whose primary need is an alternative place to live. Many of these recipients have multiple needs including nursing, educational, job training, and mental health therapies.

We provide case management services to families receiving cash subsidies to maintain their children in a natural home environment rather than extended care.

CAU operates as a licensed Medicaid Rehabilitation Option, and as a licensed Maternal/Child Health organization in a managed care environment.
